We did the opposite. Tailnox sells a handful of things for cats and dogs — one or two of each — and tells you plainly who each one is for. Less scrolling. Fewer regrets. Nothing that arrives and immediately disappoints you.
How something earns a spot
It has to fix a specific, ordinary, annoying problem. Fur on every surface of the house. A dog scratching paint off the door because they have no other way to say they need out. Nails you cannot get near without a fight.
If a product is merely nice to have, it doesn't make the list. That's why the lineup is short, and why it's staying short.
What we won't tell you
That a toy is indestructible. That a brush works on every coat. That every dog learns the bells in a day.
Pet products that overpromise end up in the drawer with the harness that didn't fit and the puzzle feeder your cat ignored. We'd rather tell you who a product isn't for and be right when we say it's for you.
The part most stores skip
If your pet takes one look at something and walks away, that's still our problem. You can't return a chewed toy for a refund — nobody wants to buy that — but email us anyway. We'll usually sort out store credit or a swap for something that suits them better.
It costs us a little. It costs us a lot more to be a store you never come back to.
Who's back here

Ordering and delivery
How much is shipping?
Nothing. Free to every address in the US and Canada, no minimum spend.
Is there a discount for buying more than one thing?
Yes, and there's no code to remember. Two items take 10% off, three or more take 15% off, and it comes off in your cart on its own.
Where do you ship from?
Directly from our manufacturing partner in China. It keeps our prices down and our range small, and it means delivery takes longer than an Amazon order. We say so up front rather than burying it.
How long until it arrives?
1-3 business days to pick and pack, then 10-20 business days to the US and 12-25 to Canada. You'll get tracking by email as soon as it ships. Customs and holidays can add time. Full detail is on our shipping and returns page.
Will I have to pay customs or duties?
Sometimes. Because parcels come from China, import charges can apply depending on your country's current rules and your order value. That charge comes from the government, not from us. Forward us the receipt if it happens — we track it.
Do you ship outside the US and Canada?
Not yet. We'd rather do two countries properly than ten badly.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us within 12 hours and yes, almost always. After that it's usually already moving.

What's your return policy, in one sentence?
Thirty days, unused and in its packaging, full refund — and if it arrived damaged, just send a photo and keep it. The full policy lives here.
My dog took one look and walked away. Now what?
Email us. We can't refund a chewed toy, but a product your pet rejected outright is our problem too — we'll usually sort out store credit or a swap.
My order arrived damaged.
Send a photo within 14 days. We replace it or refund you, and you don't have to ship the broken one back.
The products
Is the slicker brush safe for cats?
Yes. The pins are rounded at the tip and angled to catch the loose undercoat rather than press into skin. Use light pressure, short strokes, and stop if you see any redness. Don't use it on matted fur — mats need cutting out first, and dragging a brush through one hurts.
Will the brush work on a short-haired dog?
It works, but it isn't where it shines. Slicker brushes earn their keep on medium, long and double coats — the ones that carpet your sofa every spring. On a beagle or a boxer, a rubber curry mitt does more.
Will the scratch board do all the nails?
Front nails, yes. Back nails are harder, because most dogs won't scratch with their hind paws, so you may still need clippers there. Dew claws don't touch the board at all, so check those separately. And if a nail has already grown into the pad, that's a vet job before you start.
How long does it take a dog to learn the door bells?
Guide their nose or paw to the bells before every single trip outside and most dogs connect it within a few days. Some get it the same afternoon. Some take three weeks. Consistency matters far more than the dog's age or breed.
Won't my dog just ring the bells constantly to go outside?
Some try it for the first week. The fix is boring and it works: when they ring, you go out — but it's a bathroom trip, not playtime. No treats, no ball, straight back in. They stop gaming it quickly once outside stops being fun on demand.
Do the bells fit my door?
Round knobs and lever handles both. Three snap settings adjust the height, so it works for a dachshund or a great dane.
Which size should I pick?
Go by weight and measurement rather than breed — the size guides on each product page list both. If your pet falls between two sizes, the larger one with an adjustable strap is usually the safer choice.

Why do you sell so few things?
Because forty near-identical harnesses helps nobody. We add a product when it solves a real, specific problem, and not before.
Is my payment information safe?
We never see your card details. Payments run through Shopify's checkout, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the same system used by hundreds of thousands of stores.
